Over the weekend 18th - 19th July, Cudmore fisheries was the place to be to get a look at tackle from various fishing tackle manufacturers at the 2009 Go Fishing Show. Not only that but Cudmore held the infamous Fish O'mania match on the Saturday, which certainly pulled a good crowd in.

Anyone who visited the Nash stand over the 2 days will tell you there was loads to see and do on the stand, which was spread over two main areas. The indoor marquee had Terminal Tackle / Nashbait demonstrations throughout the day with Gary 'The Bait Guru' Bayes sharing his wisdom on all aspects of bait from massive edges with supermarket baits to rolling your own perfect pop-ups.

Dave Fuidge was inside the marquee too overloading many an anglers mind with Terminal Tackle hints and tips and showing the ultimate way to conceal your end tackle using Diffusion Camo rig components. Alongside him was Mike Jones demonstrating awesome edges with PVA/dips, paste and glugs etc and of course his speciality 'The Long Range Bag.'

On the outdoor area next to the lake, Myself, Alan Blair, Kirstin Wiley, Connor Storey and various other Nash anglers manned the area trying to get as many of the general public involved as possible by allowing them to use new products from within our Cobra baiting range, casting Nash rods, playing and landing carp on Nash tackle and after a hard days walking - a well earned rest on an Indulgence bedchair.

Although the carp weren’t exactly playing ball on the day, we still managed plenty which spectators seemed very pleased to play and land on the Nash gear – some of the methods used included floater fishing, method feeder fishing, float fishing, stalking, various bottom bait rigs and even a bit of fly fishing! Connor Storey kept the youngsters extremely entertained, working his own little corner of the swim using a float rod he had a right little competition going with prizes being one for each fish caught.
